The Stanton is in a great location, very close to the beach, and the pool area is nice. Valet service was also good, and overall the property looks attractive from the outside. Unfortunately, the guest experience doesn’t quite match the property. The rooms feel outdated, and the balconies have areas that could be a tripping hazard and should be addressed. Microwaves are available, but only for an additional fee. The biggest disappointment was the lack of late checkout. Even during a slower season, Marriott status did not seem to make much difference. At most, you may be offered an extra hour, and there was also no room upgrade offered during our stay. For a Marriott property where status benefits are part of the appeal, that was disappointing. Beautiful location and nice pool area, but the rooms and overall guest experience could definitely use an update.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with children. Thank you Marriot Santon for making our stay such a wonderful experience! The staff are incredibly friendly, respectful, and attentive. The hotel, rooms, and all the amenities are exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The resort is excellent, with large pools, a beautiful beach, and plenty of attentive staff to make your stay enjoyable. The location is perfect! close to great restaurants, shops, and everything you need. We travel to Miami twice a year, and this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at. We can’t wait to come back!

Last month, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Marriott Stanton, arriving on Tuesday and departing on Friday. Overall, this hotel is ideal if your main goal is spending time at the beach. The beach is directly accessible from the property, and the resort fee includes two beach chairs and towels. However, umbrellas are not included and cost either $30 or $38 per day, depending on who quotes the price. Conveniently, the higher price was quoted on a day that had been rainy and cloudy for much of the morning. When I asked the hotel about the discrepancy, I was told the beach service is operated by a third party. That explanation was difficult to believe, considering the beach hut displays Stanton branding and the attendants wear Marriott name tags. Another drawback is that beach chair and umbrella service ends early. Staff begin collecting equipment around 5:00 p.m., and by 6:00 p.m. the beach remains open, but the chair and umbrella service is no longer available. Despite these issues, the beach was the highlight of our stay. The guest room was disappointing given the price point and Marriott reputation. The main areas of the hotel also looked spotless and very well-maintained. However, the room itself was a letdown. For a rather expensive price tag, the room was just not that amazing. The attention to detail was severely lacking: the balcony was not clean, and the windows were very dirty. Additionally, the room was advertised as including a bathrobe, but there wasn't one provided, which was disappointing. Another frustration was the beach setup. While the hotel provides sun chairs for the beach, they do not include an umbrella. You have to pay an extra $30 every time you go down and want an umbrella. We loved our stay at the Marriott Stanton. The beach location and the perfect pool area were great for a stay before our cruise. The hotel is close to so many amazing restaurants, all within walking distance. Lola's, the hotel's Mexican restaurant, was a nice place for lunch. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious.
